Employment and Labor Mediation

Conflict resolution in the workplace is a proactive approach to preventing litigation and encouraging a better work environment. Workplace mediation is one means of bringing parties together to resolve disputes before they escalate into workplace disruption or lawsuits. The parties agree to work together in a confidential, voluntary process.

The benefits of mediation, above and beyond litigation avoidance are many:

  • Employees can hear and understand the other party’s perspective;

  • parties can create solutions without management or the courts intervention;

  • Speedy resolution versus drawn out litigation process;

  • Saves money- lawsuits are expensive for both sides;

  • confidential process- once a lawsuit is filed, all of the dirty laundry is out;

  • Self -developed solutions have a better chance of success
